Mosquito Killing Dunks and Bits
Mosquito Dunks (and bits) are BTI based larvae
killers. BTI stands for Bacillius Thuringiensis
Israelensis, the active ingredient in Mosquito
Dunks and Mosquito
Bits. The dunks offer an extended solution and the bits are
used for those times when you have to do some catch-up work.
Mosquitoes tend not to travel further than a mile
from where they hatched. Therefore, killing the larvae locally
will reduce the mosquito population in the surrounding area
They are known to spread disease like West Nile Virus, Encephalitis,
Malaria, and even Heartworms to pets.
1 female can lays1,000 to 3,000 eggs in a
lifetime, which is typically only within a 1 to 2 week period. It
is only the females which bite to get blood to satisfy their needs
during breeding. Kill the larvae locally and you stop the cycle
