Firelog
Safety Tips
The firelog enhancer makes
your fire grate much safer but please follow the tips below. |
| ü Always follow firelog manufacturer's
lighting and operation instructions. ü Open fireplace damper fully before lighting
any firelogs. Be sure adequate upward draft exists to
avoid smoke buildup in room. It is always recommended that you have your chimney
cleaned at the beginning of every burning season.
ü Do not close
fireplace damper until all ashes are cool and the firelog has completely burned-out.
ü Burn only one firelog at a time and never add anything to a burning firelog.
ü Never combine
wood or any other product with a firelog.
ü Never burn
anything other than a standard firelog (6 Lbs. or less) with The Firelog Enhancer.
ü For use only in an open hearth fireplace. Never burn a firelog in wood stoves or barbecues. Never use a firelog for cooking.
ü For indoor use only. Never
burn a firelog outdoors.
ü Always close
mesh protective screen when burning a firelog.
ü Always leave
fireplace glass doors open when burning any firelog.
ü Never leave any
fire unattended.
ü Keep children away from any burning fire.
ü Never use
flammable liquids, fire starters, or fireplace gas log lighters to ignite a firelog.
ü Never poke,
probe, or breakup a burning firelog. This could cause a firelog to become extremely
flammable. Poking a burning firelog could
cause flaming particles to stick to tools and create a fire hazard.
ü Caution:
During and for several hours after a fire, the ceramic/masonry logs and other
parts of The Firelog Enhancer will be hot to the touch! |
